Find Food

The Interfaith Food Pantry of the Oranges (IFPO) serves clients on Wednesday mornings, 9:00 - 12:00 at 357 S Jefferson Street, Orange. IFPO is closed the first Wednesday of the month. IFPO primarily services residents of Orange, East Orange and West Orange. If you live outside these areas, we would be happy to help connect you with a more conveniently located food pantry.

EAST ORANGE

New Ephesus Baptist Church, 175 Brookwood St., East Orange. 3rd Monday (May 20) from 9:30 am - 2 pm. 

Imani Baptist Church, 113-117 Elmwood Ave, East Orange. Wednesdays from 8 am - 12 pm; Saturdays 8 am-4 pm

 

Joi's Angel food pantry, 114 S. Arlington Ave., East Orange. 8 am - 11 am.​ Third (May 16) and Fourth (May 23) Thursday of each month. Third Thursday (May 16) is diaper pantry for children up to age 3 (bring birth certificate).

City of East Orange Food Distribution, Fellowship Civic Center, 1 Fellowship Circle (Greenwood Ave.), East Orange. ​ Food Distributions Fridays, 9:00am - 12:00pm. Walk up only. Must be an East Orange Resident.

Bethlehem Community Development Corporation, 77 North 14th Street, East Orange. Every 3rd Saturday (May 18) from 9 am-1 pm.

 

Bethel New Life Community Outreach Church, 450 N. Maple Ave, East Orange. Every 4th Saturday  (May 25) from 10 am-12 pm

ORANGE

City of Orange Food Distribution, 234 Lincoln Avenue (between Jackson Street and Central Avenue). Food distributions Mondays and Wednesdays 9:30 am - 2:00 pm for Orange residents only. Bring your own bags! 

----No Distribution Monday May 27 (Memorial Day). Distribution that week on Tuesday May 28 and Wednesday May 29.

 

Ebenezer Baptist Church, 153 William Street, Orange, Thursdays except the first Thursday of the month, 10 am. 

Church of the Epiphany and Christ Church, Jubilee Community Outreach Center, 105 Main Street, Orange. Saturdays 11 am-1:30 pm. Free bagged lunch and groceries, emergency food pantry. Rain or shine in the Church parking lot. ​

 

Christine's Kitchen, Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 315 Main Street, West Orange. Saturdays 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm. Free bagged lunch to go. 

Mount Carmel Baptist Church, 381 Cleveland Street, Orange, Second and Third Saturdays of each month (May 11 and 18) 10 am - 12:00 noon. Food distribution, bring a bag. ​

WEST ORANGE

Holy Trinity Food Pantry, 315 Main Street, West Orange, Tuesdays 9 am - 12 pm serving residents of the Oranges. Please bring a photo ID and proof of address. Diaper Day - third Tuesday of each month (May  21) during regular food pantry.

HYGIENE SUPPLIES (no food):

Essential Services Pantry - East Orange Family Success Center, 132 South Harrison Street, East Orange. Fridays 12 pm - 2 pm, Open to all.

East Orange Family Success Center, 132 South Harrison Street, East Orange. Call first! 973-395-1442. Diapers and formula available to Essex County residents.​

 

Holy Trinity Food Pantry, 315 Main Street, West Orange, Tuesdays 9 am - 12 pm for residents of the Oranges. Please bring a photo ID and proof of address. Diaper Day - the last Tuesday of each month during regular food pantry.

Joi’s Angel Food Pantry, 114 S. Arlington Ave, East Orange 9 am - 12pm. Third Thursday offers diapers for children up to age 3. *Bring Birth Certificate * East Orange residents only.
